When Pran decided to steal the statue of the founder at her bard college and replace it with one of her own making, it was only as a game. A prank to celebrate her coming graduation. Until tragedy struck and one of her friends was injured. Now she's cast out, seven years of bard training made moot, left destitute on the streets of a nearby city. Where she witnesses a crime taking place. Lying, since that's half of what being a bard is, she claims to be a Guardian, and stops the crime.
