Hello All,

Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.

Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).

Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

p.s. Sorry about all of the coding errors. They reset nightly these days and I can't keep up with changing the code that often... :(

If all the titles you suggest are that good, I may have to think about adopting children. I need more gift cards. Of coarse, that would mean I'd have to gift them as well, so a self-defeating notion after all. Hmmm, I'll think of something...

I can't stand Connie Suttle. I got 3 or 4 books into one of her series before I just couldn't take her doormat main characters anymore. I think the tipping point for me was when the bad boy love interests enslaved her with compulsion to the point that she committed suicide to get away from them, then they nursed her back to health and mindraped her into forgetting she had a problem with the way they treated her.
And I read BDSM erotica. And think that Keeley is the best girlfriend Hally could ask for.

I was just trying to highlight that I get that some people like to read about relationships with one partner clearly dominant. But, Connie Suttle still has too much of a creepy squick feeling for me.

(BDSM stand for BondageDisciplineSadoMasochistic if you are really asking. Mostly its just romances involving spanking.)

Just read the last 2 (3 now?) new series from Connie Sutton and I liked them. The finder series looks the best of the 3 but all 3 were good... cliffhangers galore but what can you do? At least she writes fast.

Also Mark the new books got rid of the stupid main characters love interest making them commit suicide crap... her first multi (4 series) series books are done and finished and only the 3 with female characters have main characters that have serious issues, the other 1 is really good and doesn't and the newest three don't so if you can't get past that aspect of her books the story she tell is still good. I just really really really hated the high demon series, I'd skip it if I had to do it over again but then again the God wars series wouldn't make any sense so yea... stupid but that's just how it is.

In a world, where superheroes and -villains have been fighting since the twenties, a world whose present is so very unlike our own, a young gadgeteer, Basil Blake, seeks both the thrills of a hero’s life as well as the chance to do some good.

It follows Alexis, who has gone all out badass. Yeah, her mom’s an abusive druggie and her father is [classified]. Oh, and school’s no better, having a resident psychopath with a grudge.
As a new member of the hitting-people-in-the-head school of therapy, she sets about taking out her problems on the local drug cartel. What could go wrong there? At least she has some shoddy home-made armour.

Bob and his symbiote finally manage to reach synergy after over forty years, allowing Bob’s symbiote to speak to him. Things get a bit crazy from there.

http://parahumans.wordpress.com/
An introverted teenage girl with an unconventional superpower, Taylor goes out in costume to find escape from a deeply unhappy and frustrated civilian life. Her first attempt at taking down a supervillain sees her mistaken for one, thrusting her into the midst of the local ‘cape’ scene’s politics, unwritten rules, and ambiguous morals. As she risks life and limb, Taylor faces the dilemma of having to do the wrong things for the right reasons.

In a world where magic is everywhere and everyone can develop the potential inside them, we follow Tristan, a newly-minted mage as he starts working for the wizards council.
Disaster struck many years ago and the world is just recovering. Come and see what is in store for the punch-clock mage.

Blake Thorburn was driven away from home and family by a vicious fight over inheritance, returning only for a deathbed visit with the grandmother who set it in motion. He soon finds himself next in line to inherit the property, a trove of supernatural texts, and the many enemies his grandmother left behind her in the small town of Jacob’s Bell.

A young man dies, and a grim reaper offers to revive him in exchange for servitude. Responsibilities include saving other people’s lives and occasionally fighting unspeakable horrors. But this particular young man is cripplingly shy. No, seriously. He can barely even speak to people. It’s really bad.

Weavespinner is a collection of Webstories by Fel. I have read all of them apart from Earth Bond And There All good, my favorites are. Well. All of them.

"Wired" & "Amped" by Douglas E. Richards. A brilliant Doctor creates a pill that can boost anyone to superhuman intelligence for one hour. Black ops types hunt her as a terrorist.

Do any of you know other titles/series with supehuman genius or intelligence enhancement? The ones I can think of are:

The last Master
