~ Land Allocations For The Young Ancient Series ~

Noram: North America

The Capital: Along the new course of the Rio Grande. Renamed "The King's River".

The coastline has changed, but the water levels didn't alter it that much. :)

Soam: South America

Afrak: Africa

The continent has changed, the interior of it becoming a vast desert region, with a three hundred mile strip of green around the edges in most places. This is currently being altered.

Austra: Australia

About the same, except that due to long term salt deposits in the farming land most food is artificially created. Things can grow, but they don't thrive. Otherwise it's very similar to what it is now geologically.

Tellerand: Europe

Very religious, and they don't believe in magic.

Vagus:

The largest land by far, containing all of China, the old Soviet block states and everything around it. Greatly recovered as far as the heavy wear on it's resources, but the place has no technological base to speak of. Recently started a program of Magics to increase the quality of life for her people.

Antarctic:

It's what you think. It has full ice on it and isn't a tropical paradise or anything like that. :)

County Ward: The region around Florida, moving toward, but not into what we would think of as Louisiana.

County Morris: Between Ward and the King's lands. So a very large area in the South.

County Rodriguez: The top third or so of what is currently Mexico.

County Ford: Most of Old (currently) California. Extends out to meet the King's lands from the west however.

County Lairdgren: The Pacific Northwest. Grenwyn Almost borders on Thomson.

And so on. Easy. :)

Questions:

John W. Baughn Jr. says: I think Canada counts as part of Noram as well as all of Mexico. The only issue is how far down we go before we hit Soam. Could county Isle be the Caribbean? Printer, Morris, and another were next to Ward I thought, that was why they were rushing to get weapons.

Dang I forgot Thorgood in my list, Ursala will be pissed...

And is Tellerand or Vagus covering the middle east or maybe it is part of Afrak. Could be the middle east is a radioactive hot zone from all the wars by then.

D. L. Power says: Remember, Noram is all of North America. The rough positions are good, but most of them are about two times the size I've been describing. There are 33 Counties.

One is the King's holdings, which includes the Wildlands.

Before anyone asks, that number was random and not put in because of occult or Freemason links. :) I haven't named all the Counties at all yet.

Kerr P says: Dibs on County Pellow, located around Saskatchewan!

D. L. Power says: Kerr: That's in the Holden area. Though I think there might be space for several more Counties near there. (Holder, with an "r" at the end is basically Alaska. Holden has one of the major schools for young nobles.)

I'll see about that though. Pellow. Not a bad name for one. :) That would need to be one of the ones in on the rebellion...
