Hello All,

Dale and I have been communicating about the recent problems with the Forum here at pspowerbooks.com. It has been decided to retire the Forum and move all author & conversational interactions over to Patreon.

Over the next week or so, I'll be closing down the Forum and creating redirects to start funneling visitors of the Forum over to that URL (the main website showing all the books will be staying).

Thank you everyone for your participation on the Forum these past several years! See you on Patreon!!

p.s. Sorry about all of the coding errors. They reset nightly these days and I can't keep up with changing the code that often... :(

Mistakes in the book

Unread postby Kat » Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:11 am

In The first chapter of Mr Hartley (around position 90 on kindle) there's this sentence:
When you saw things other people don't, even if only part of the time, it's was generally best not to get behind the wheel of a giant death machine.

;)

Also:
Yay it's here!!!! :D

Also: Around Position 2148 '...under supervision of an experience individual transform Samuel...'
2330: 'You must be the famous, Mr. Hartley.'
I'd say that pretty much count's.

That because Zack see's things not there, like a premonition of a animal/person whatever... that will cross the road soon, and slams on the brakes when there's really nothing there.

So he doesn't drive since he might cause an accident doing that.

Made sense to me... :?:

Generally speaking Kat, it's considered poor form to criticize an author's work on a forum that he, himself, hosts. Perhaps, a better idea would be to volunteer to be a first reader (pre-release) to help catch those pesky errata before they get into print. Sometimes it's just innocent typos though. It's possible that in this case the apostrophe s OR the was, wasn't needed. Perhaps Dale wasn't sure which verb tense was correct at the time and left both for a later choice, only to miss it in a later edit. Who knows? Small worry really don't you think?

Which actually is pretty amusing.

I'm a proofreader, so I missed it twice. All my fault.

Kindle book places like that are meaningless for editing. Also, you can just e-mail me with stuff.
