Hello,

We've had a recent spat of Russian spambots to our little website. It added several dozen spam accounts to the site and caused all kinds of wonderful havoc. Because of this, we're shutting down the Registration for the website for a while to stop the bots from doing what they're been doing. I also deleted a LOT of accounts that I believed to be part of the tsunami. If I inadvertently deleted your account, please forgive me and contact me to let me know. We'll get you back onsite asap.

Best wishes everyone!

Dale I would love some details on where each County is roughly located. Working on a Map for the website.

It'll be interesting to see if Dale thinks the Counties are correct.

Of course, it'd be a _lot_ easier if he just released his professionally made super duper copy of the YA map he uses for his writing!

I think I need to put the Wildlands above the Capital. Seems they fly over it on their way from school to the Capital?
Yes I look forward to Dales input!

Marcia, I think the capitol is @ las vegas. 300 miles from pacifico, hot, dry and middle of wasteland. county ford would be california. I think Ward would be allof the southeast, louisianna to virginia. printer borders them to the north up to @ maine, cliffs, rocky beaches and fishing. Morris/Baker would be Texas, New mexico. oklahoma and colorado. Ross would be Kansas, nebraska, parts of arkansas and mo. Just my opinion and deduction based on faulty reasoning ability and poor grasp of reality. Of course we're talking @ a fictional place. I might have to make up my own map in my head, a good reason to read the series again.

Hello to all!
I've got a question about the world map.
In the books they always stop at Ward for supplies on the way to Austra because it's the closest, but wouldn't Afrak be in the way? They never mentioned navigating around it and make it seem like a strait shot to Austra. What if in the 3,000+ years (not counting from now till the cataclysm) the earth violently shifted around? For example, Afrak has huge deserts. Is the southern portion is ether gone or under water? Or maybe drifted much closer to Soam? Greenland I guess is gone, or at least not mentioned as far as I can tell. The Great Cataclysm was hinted at being world changing (Vagus being hit with meteors, etc)
These are just my musings, but I'm interested in discussing this.
